First login and administrators

Purpose

The first administrator logs in, and more administrators and organisers get access.

Before you start

The installation runs on your domain (Your domain).
Legendernes Verden has created the first administrator with your e-mail address and sent you a link to choose a password. (Later, the system’s setup guide will create the first administrator.)
E-mails require that sending e-mail is set up (Integrations).

Steps

1. Log in

Open https://<your domain>/admin/login.
Enter e-mail and password and choose Log in.

/admin/login is the emergency login. It always works for everyone who has a role beyond Player — even if Wix or e-mail login is turned off. Ordinary players log in at /login with the login methods you have turned on (see Modules).

2. Give others access

Everyone in the system is a player; an administrator or organiser is a player with more roles.

Go to Players (Spillere) and choose Create player (Opret spiller) with name and e-mail. If the person already exists, search for them.
Open the player. In the Roles box (Roller), tick for example Administrator or Organiser. Roles add up; everyone is Player already.
In the Login box, choose Send invitation. The person receives an e-mail with a link to choose a password.

Only an administrator can see and change roles. The roles’ permissions are changed under Roles and permissions.

Common mistakes

“The account is locked.” After 10 wrong attempts in a row, the e-mail address is locked on /admin/login for 15 minutes. Wait and try again — or use Forgot password.
The invitation does not arrive. Look in spam, and check the sender under The organisation and the e-mail setup.
The person can log in but only sees the player portal. The role is missing, or it has no permissions beyond Player.
Only one administrator. Give at least two people the role.
