How to get an installation

Get an installation of LV-Database that Legendernes Verden hosts and that you configure yourselves.

Contact Legendernes Verden and agree on the hosting. Before the first player signs up, there must be a data processing agreement between your association and Legendernes Verden (see Personal data).

Information Example Used for
Domain larp.myassociation.dk or a whole domain The address of the installation. You add two DNS records yourselves; see Your domain.
Association name and optionally a short name “Artemis LARP”, “Artemis” Everywhere in the system, in e-mails, in print and in your terms
Name of the event series “The Lost Colony” New events are suggested as series name + number
Logo PNG, SVG or WebP, at most 2 MB; ideally one version for light and one for dark backgrounds The menu, e-mails, print and app icons
Languages Danish and/or English; which one is the default What players can choose, and what new visitors see
Administrators Name and e-mail of 1–3 people We create the first administrator; that person gives the others roles
E-mail sender Artemis LARP <noreply@myassociation.dk> and possibly your own mail server (SMTP) Confirmations, ticket e-mails, reminders
Game world One-shot or campaign Which template we start from

If you want to sell tickets in the system, the organisation also needs an address and a CVR number, and you need your own agreement with Vipps MobilePay (see Integrations).

  1. Send the information above to Legendernes Verden.
  2. We create the installation and send you the exact DNS records.
  3. You add the DNS records (Your domain); we activate the domain and the certificate.
  4. The first administrator logs in (First login) and configures the rest.

Later, the system itself will guide you through the setup, including DNS. Until then we do it together with you.

  • The sender address is not allowed by the mail provider. E-mails are rejected or end up in spam. Use an address on your own domain that your mail server may send from.
  • Only one administrator. If that person is away, nobody can give roles. Have at least two.
